You might be thinking, "Why Kenya?" or "Why Imani?" or "Why another organization that is funding children monthly?"
This little one right here. He is our "why." For the children who have no one to speak up for them, no one to educate them, no one to provide a hug, a meal, or clothes. They are our "why." For the children who have lost their parents to AIDS, or starvation. We are in a position to help them, so we must do so. I love these children as if they were my own. Each and every one of them. They are our "why."
Bryan learned about the region of Embu, Kenya on a work trip. William Wlberforce once said "You may choose to look the other way but you can never say again that you did not know." Then, Bryan started Imani Christian Schools.
We are called to love our neighbor, and to take care of the orphans and widows. This is exactly what we are doing.
